The college has developed a fully-fledged training program that can be tailored to various educational purposes from cultivating undergraduates to postdocs. Currently, the annual undergraduate enrollment is on the scale of from 30 to 40. They take university and college level fundamental courses in their fresh and sophomore years and are further trained in the field of either environmental science or environmental engineering in their junior and senior years. For environmental science majors, they can also choose specific areas between environmental science with a focus on nature science and environmental management with a focus on management and policy.

The environmental science program aims to help students gain knowledge and enhance their capacity in the following aspects: (1) grasp fundamental theories and knowledge in mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology, (2) understand fundamental principles and knowledge in environmental science, (3) get familiar with national policies and regulations on environmental protection, sound utilization of natural resources, and sustainable development, (4) know the latest development in environmental science, and environmental protection industry, and (5) acquire skills in information retrieval, experimental design, data analysis, and academic writing and communication. Environmental science majors may get their degrees only if they fulfill course requirement and finish their thesis. Undergraduates are conferred a Bachelor of Science degree upon graduation.

The environmental engineering program aims to help students become aware of sustainability in their decision making, obtain knowledge in water, air, noise, solid waste pollution control, water supply and drainage engineering, environmental planning, and resource protection, acquire skills in pollution control engineering design and management, gain capacity to make environmental planning and carry out environmental management, and be able to develop new theories, technologies and equipment in environmental engineering. Students trained as such are expected to be professionals in pollution prevention and control, environmental remediation and environmental planning and management. Environmental engineering majors may get their degrees only if they fulfill course requirement and finish their thesis. Undergraduates are conferred a Bachelor of engineering degree upon graduation.
