PROFILE

His research focuses on on-site monitoring method for pollutants such as SO2, NOx, HNO3 and particulate matter. He is also interested in source identification for volatile organic compounds (VOCs), emission flux measurement of atmospheric trace components such as VOCs and ammonia, and indoor air pollution and Ozone Depletion Substances (ODS). As one of the main participants, he developed a method for identifying natural source and anthropogenic source for VOCs in China, and contributed to the set up of Indoor Air Quality Standard.
