About the Program
To cultivate future leaders with a global perspective in environment-related fields, Peking University (PKU) and the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) have jointly launched the "Environmental Policy, Technology and Health" dual degree master program, combining the strengths of PKU in environmental science and health with the strengths of LSE in environmental economics and policy. The program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of environmental science, health, economics, policy-making, and management, and aims to equip them with the skills to analyze and solve global and regional environmental issues. The comprehensive curriculum is delivered entirely in English and combines theoretical study and case studies to explore the link between the environment and socio-economic development, providing decision-making support for environmental governance. Upon completing the program, students will be awarded a Master's degree in Environmental Management from PKU and a Master's degree in Environmental Policy and Regulation, Environmental Development, or Environmental Economics and Climate Change from LSE.
Degree Requirements
To obtain the joint degree, students must complete all courses and pass all assessments at both PKU and LSE. If students fail to meet the graduation requirements of either university, they will not be awarded the master's degree from either institution.
