Against the backdrop of globalization, international academic exchanges and cooperation have become increasingly frequent. As key institutions for knowledge dissemination and innovation, universities bear the crucial responsibility of cultivating talents with a global perspective.

On the moring of March 3rd, Prof. Zoe Shipton, Director of Internationalisation, Deparment of Civil and Environmental Engineering, University of Strathclyde, and her delegation visited the College of Environmental Sciences and Engineering (CESE), Peking Univesity(PKU) .

From February 23 to 26, 2025, the LEEEP (Laboratory of Energy & Environmental Economics and Policy) research group from the College of Environmental Sciences and Engineering at Peking University visited Milan, Italy, to participate in the kickoff meeting of the Horizon Europe flagship project NEWPATHWAYS, followed by an academic visit to the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) in Germany.

On the afternoon of December 1st, Prof. Schellnhuber, director general of the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA), and his delegation visited the College of Environmental Sciences and Engineering (CESE), Peking Univesity(PKU) .

On November 17-20, 2024, the Aerodyne Mass Spectrometer User Conference were successfully held in the Lecture Hall of the College of Environmental Sciences and Engineering（CESE）, Peking University (PKU). The conference was organized by Aerodyne Research Inc. (ARI ) and CESE, PKU, and hosted by Prof. Qi Chen and Aerodyne PKU-CESE Joint Center for Atmospheric Research.

On October 17-18, 2024, the workshop titled“Multi-scale Climate-Air-Water Nexus for Sustainable Health, Food and Energy”was held jointly by World Climate Research Program (WCRP) Coordinated Regional Climate Downscaling Experiment (CORDEX), Monsoon Asia Integrated Research for Sustainability (MAIRS) and Future Earth (FE) at College of Environmental Sciences and Engineering (CESE), Peking University(PKU). This joint workshop aims to promote interdisciplinary communication and cooperation in Asia. The workshop was jointly hosted by the CESE-PKU, Professional Committee of Environmental Sustainability Science & Innovation, Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences (CSES-Envision), and MAIRS-FE International Project Office (IPO.) It is also supported by the International Cooperative Scientific Program for Sustainable Development's key project.
