Liu Jianguo joined the Chinese governmental delegation coorganizaed by Ministry of Foriegn Afairs and Ministry of Environmental Protection to attend the "4th Asia-Pacific regional meeting on the Strategic Approach to International Chemicals Management (SAICM) and related workshops" held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, during 23 to 27 March 2014, with assigned representive responsibility for the contact group dissusion on global action plans and international policies on EDCs (Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals) and Highly Hazardous Pesticides(HHPs), made a positive contibution to the concerted policy of Asian-Pacific region and global action plans development on this two critical chemicals issues within SAICM.
